First grab a large mixing bowl and combine the self rising flour and Greek Yogurt. Use a spartula to mix as it will be super sticky.
Once the dough forms fold in some of the shredded parmesan cheese. And then grab a ball of dough and roll it between your hands until a rope forms and then connect the ends to forma a bagel.
Place the bagel on the parchment paper lined Air Fryer or basket. Then sprinkle with some garlic powder and a little more cheese.
Set the Air Fryer to 390 degrees and cook for about 8 minutes or until golden brown and center is cooked.
Serve warm with some butter or cream cheese and enjoy!
Additions & Substitutions:
- I have made these with Asiago cheese, too
- Go ahead and brush some butter on top and add Everything Bagel Seasoning
How to Store these Air Fryer Bagels
I usually wait until they cool and place in a Zip-lock bag and leave on the counter for a few days. They do put out a lit of moisture so make sure they are cooled before sealing.
Will these bagel freeze well?
We usually destroy these in a couple days, but yes they will freeze. If you want to make a big batch I would wait until they are cooled and would wrap them individually. Then place the bagels in a freezer safe Zip-lock bag and then freeze.
Can I use regular yogurt in this bagel recipe?
NO! It had to be Greek Yogurt! I have tried it with plain yogurt and they do not turn out.
