Ingredients Needed for this Grilled Apple Dessert Pizza

šButter– a little for the surface so that the pizza dough doesn’t stick. Can also use oil. šPizza Dough– I used store bought Aldi has a great one in the refrigerator section and Walmart had a great one in the freezer section. Alternatively, you can easily make homemade pizza dough! šApple Pie Filling– I can of pie filling works! šWalnuts– I had some chopped walnuts that added a nice little crunch. Can leave it off if you want. šHoney Vanilla Greek Yogurt– This was just sweet enough for a little drizzle on top! See below for other options. |

How to make this Grilled Apple Dessert Pizza on the Flat Top or Blackstone

Step 1: Prepare Pizza dough. First open your pizza dough (or make it from scratch). I cut mine in half to make 2 smaller pizzas for easier handling. On a floured surface press it out by hand into two pizzas (or roll it out with a rolling pin).
Step 2: Cook Pizza Dough. Heat the flat top up over medium heat. Add half the butter on the surface and spread around. Carefully add the dough and let cook about 5 minutes. Once the bottom in browned flip over to let the other side cook.
Step 3: Add toppings. As the other side cooks spoon on the apple pie filling and chopped walnuts. The filling will warm up a bit as it finishes cooking. I also added some butter to the crust here, too.
Step 4: Add Drizzle. When the pizza dough is browned, remove from the flat top. And add a little drizzle of the honey vanilla Greek yogurt on top. Slice and serve and enjoy warm!
Cut into slices/squares and serve while still hot.

How to make this Apple Dessert Pizza on the grill
Step 1: Heat your grill to a high temperature. Brush the grill or the pizza dough with melted butter or some oil. Allow the dough to cook until the bottom is browned, about 3-5 minutes. Grab the dough with tongs and flip it over.
Step 2: Spread the top with canned apple pie filling and the chopped walnuts. Cook on the grill until the bottom of the crust is crispy. Remove from the grill and add the honey vanilla Greek yogurt.

Serving Suggestions
So I topped mine with Honey Greek Yogurt but you could use easily swap out for a few other toppings or additions:
- Vanilla Ice Cream: The classic pairing for a reason!
- Caramel Sauce: Adds extra sweetness and richness.
- Other Chopped Nuts: Pecans or almonds would provide a satisfying crunch.
- Whipped Cream: A light and airy topping.
- Cinnamon: A simple and flavorful addition.
