To me, the season of fall means two things- colorful leaves and great seasonal desserts. From apple crisp, to traditional pumpkin pie, fall is filled with a few of my favorite desserts. Thanksgiving is around the corner so I figured I would share with you How to Make an Easy Pumpkin Pie!

How to make this easy pumpkin pie recipe with canned pumpkin
Step 1: Prep the crust
To make the pie crust fit in your pie dish, you can roll it out a little on a floured surface (or if you don’t care how it looks just place it in the pan as is. DON’T BAKE IT FIRST.
Step 2: Make the filling
In a medium bowl combine the canned pumpkin, eggs, sweetened condensed milk, and pumpkin pie spice.
Mix it all up with a spatula. Pour into the unbaked pie crust.
Step 3: Bake
Bake at 375 degrees for about 50-55 minutes. Once done pull it out and let cool for about 2 hours.
Serve at room temperature or cold. I liked ours cold with lots of whipped cream or Cool-Whip! If you want to make your own whipped cream, that’s the best! And I recommend adding a little cinnamon to it.
Enjoy it friends, and Happy Fall! And make sure to stop on back to let me know if you made it!
Additions and Substitutions:
- You can use fresh pumpkin over canned if you would like.
- I thought about adding some chocolate chips- maybe next year!
- You could add some pecans on top for garnish and crunch.
- Like to make you own pie crust? Go for it- The $2 store bought is worth it to me!
- Don’t Have pumpkin spice? I didn’t either so I made my own (which I will share soon) So just use the seasonings you have… Cinnamon, Allspice, Cloves, Nutmeg, and Ginger.
