- Carefully wash, and air dry them, leaving the stems and hulls intact.
- Microwave milk chocolate chips or semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, following the instructions on the bag. Do not overcook.
- When the chocolate is melted, carefully dip each strawberry into the chocolate, swirling the berry to completely cover it with chocolate.
- Set the dipped strawberry to dry on a wax paper-lined cookie sheet.
- When the chocolate has set, drizzle melted white chocolate over each berry in a zigzag pattern.

- Wash them and air dry them, removing the stem.
- Push a popsicle stick or sturdy wooden skewer into the stem and push to secure the apple to the stick.
- Melt unwrapped caramels or caramel bits in a microwave-safe bowl in the microwave, following the instructions on the bag.
- Dip the apples into the soft caramel to completely cover most of the apple.
- Set the dipped apple to dry on a wax paper-lined cookie sheet. You may wish to refrigerate the apples to speed the process.
- Once the caramel is firm, melt milk chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, in the microwave, following the instructions on the bag.
- Pour the melted chocolate into a Ziploc bag and seal it.
- Snip a tiny opening in the bottom corner of the bag, and draw random, zigzag lines over the apples.
- Layer the chocolate on until the desired combination of chocolate and caramel is reached.
