The best Peanut Butter Banana Oatmeal Green Smoothie

Some of you know that I love whipping up smoothies in the morning for myself and my daughter. This Peanut Butter Banana Oatmeal Green Smoothie is another one of our favorites. There is even a hint of chocolate in here to give a little more sweetness but still loaded with plenty of the good stuff!

My absolute favorite smoothie to make is my Peanut Butter Banana Oat Smoothie because it kind of taste like a dessert. I wanted to incorporated some greens into my favorite so now created this Peanut Butter Banana Oatmeal Green Smoothie which is a new favorite, too!

What you need for this Peanut Butter Banana Oatmeal Green Smoothie

  • Peanut Butter
  • Banana
  • Oats
  • Spinach
  • Milk
  • Ice
  • Chocolate syrup, chocolate protein powder, or chocolate milk works
  • Ground Flax seeds
  • Blender/ Smoothie Maker

Why is spinach good for you?

Spinach is a power food and when blended up in a smoothie, you can’t taste it so add it in where you can! These leafy greens are great for many things such as helping to lower blood pressure, great for your eye health, and great for your bones! That is just to name a few.

Don’t worry it won’t ruin the taste either. That is why I love adding spinach into my smoothies.

How to make this Peanut Butter Banana Green Smoothie

We love smoothies because they are an easy breakfast or mid day snack. First get out your blender or smoothie maker. Next toss in your banana, peanut butter, Ice, Spinach, milk, chocolate, and flax.

Grind everything up until smooth and oats are grinded up finely. Pour into your favorite glass and enjoy!!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Banana
  • 1 tbsp ground flax
  • 1 tbsp all natural peanut butter
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1/4 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1/4-1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp chocolate syrup or protein powder
  • ice

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth adding more liquid id necessary.
  • Pour into favorite glass and enjoy.
