I love using our Air Fryer for a quick lunch. Sometimes I whip up Sofie my Parmesan Ranch Chicken Tenders. And for me, Buffalo Cauliflower Bites and now this Air Fryer Blackened Salmon!
Seriously the fish is juicy, has good flavor, and turns out with the perfect char on top. Just a few simple ingredients and a few minutes in the Air Fryer and you are on your way to a healthy meal! If you don’t have an Air Fryer you definitly can bake these in the oven as well. I highly reccomend an Air Fryer, though!
How to cook Salmon in the Air Fryer?
This salmon recipe is very simply. First cut the salmon into two filets. Next spray or brush olive oil onto fish.
Then add the blackening seasoning to your liking. And then place the salmon in the Air Fryer basket/tray. Set the Air fryer to 390 and cook for about 8-10 minutes.
What temperature should salmon be cooked to?
The internal temperature of salmon is recommeneded to be 145 degrees F. Depending on how you prefer your slamon cooked, you can check it around 8 minutes. Dependeing on the thickness of the salmon filets, the may need to cook a little longer!
What to serve with this Air Fryer Blackened Salmon?

- Air Fryer/ Ninja Foodi
Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh salmon cut into two filets skin on
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp blackening seasoning
Instructions
- Brush or spray Salmon filets with olive oil.
- Sprinkle with blackening seasoning.
- Place in Air Fryer basket/tray and cook at 390 for about 8-10 minutes.
