This all in one Biscuits and Gravy Breakfast Skillet is perfect for your weekend breakfast or even over the campfire! Sausage gravy, eggs, cheese, and flaky biscuits? Yes please! I have made this easy breakfast casserole so many times now and so many ways. You can do it stove top and pop it in the oven, you can cook it over the campfire, or even in your smoker/grill!

What we love about this Biscuits & Gravy Breakfast Skillet

I LOVE that this breakfast skillet has all of our favorite breakfast items packed into one dish. We have sausage, gravy, eggs, cheese, and biscuits! I just used store bought biscuits but you can make some homemade ones quickly with my Quick Homemade Flaky Biscuit recipe, too. Using the cast iron skillet is perfect because you can cook the sausage and make the gravy then add the rest of the ingredients and pop it into the oven!

And yes..delicious! Sausage gravy is SOOOO easy to make if you have never made it before. All you have to do is brown the pork sausage then add some flour and milk until its thickened.

How to make this all in one Biscuits and Gravy Breakfast Skillet

Step 1: Make the sausage gravy

First start by cooking the pork sausage in your cast iron skillet. Once cooked sprinkle with flour and give it a stir. Add in the milk and let cook until it starts to thicken.

Step 2: Layer other ingredients

Then I cracked the eggs over the pork sausage.

Then cut the biscuits into quarters and put over the top of that. Then sprinkle cheese and bake!

Step 3: Bake

Bake until biscuits are golden brown and eggs are cooked to your liking! ENJOY 🙂

Biscuits and Gravy Breakfast Skillet

This all in one breakfast skillet is easy to make and loaded with all your favorite breakfast items!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb pork sausage
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 pkg biscuits
  • 5 eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • shredded cheese

Instructions
 

  • In a cast iron skillet, brown pork sausage, drain.
  • Then add flour, milk, and salt and pepper. Stir and let cook a few minutes until desired thickness.
  • Remove from heat and add the eggs, biscuits, and cheese.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for about 30-40 minutes until biscuits are golden brown and eggs are cooked to desired doneness.
