I made these smoked chicken wings on the Traeger Pellet Smoker which I love because you plug it in and hit a button to fire it up. So if you have a regular smoker, go ahead and pre-heat it to start the process. If you prefer to use your grill, you can do that too.
Cooking chicken on the smoker is one of our favorite ways to go! You get tender, flavorful, juicy chicken with barely any effort! We have done Beer Can chicken and another great way to enjoy chicken is Spatchcock style- like in this Traeger Spatchcock Chicken Recipe from OrWahteverYouDo.com!

How to make these Parmesan Ranch Smoked Chicken Wings
First start by trimming the fresh chicken wings. I like to remove and hairs, etc. Then use a sharp knife or butcher knife to separate at the joints and discard any unwanted parts and wing tips.
Next season the chicken wings with salt and pepper, your favorite Chicken Rub, and parmesan ranch seasoning. I didn’t do an exact measure but just sprinkled and tossed until they were all covered.
How long to smoke chicken wings
Then place the seasoned chicken wings directly on the rack on your preheated smoker. We smoked our chicken wings at 180 degrees for about an hour.
Then we juiced up the smoker to 325 degrees to finish them off and get a nice crispy skin on them. The chicken is done with the internal temperature reaches at least 165 degrees.
Once done, enjoy hot with your favorite dipping sauces. We liked them as is dipped with some ranch. You can toss them in some Parmesan Ranch Wing Sauce if you prefer.
