Why Make Cinnamon Rolls in the Slow Cooker

I have been wanting to experiment with making slow cooker desserts for a while. It’s kind of nice to make it in the afternoon and then it will be ready when dinner is done. Alternatively, this would also make a great addition to brunch since you can make it a couple hours before serving then it would still be warm!

I actually bought all of these ingredients to make this Smoked Caramel Apple Dip from If You Give a Girl a Grill, but I never got to it. So instead I decided that the apples, caramel, and toffee bits would be awesome with some cinnamon rolls. And I was right.

Next microwave your caramel dip until pourable (or caramel sauce will work, too) and drizzle over the top of the cinnamon rolls. Top with the Heath toffee pieces and place the lid on. Cook on high for 2 hours or once cinnamon rolls are no longer doughy to the touch. Once cooked drizzle the icing on top and serve warm. Enjoy!

Why cook on high?

The temperature has to be high enough to actually bake the cinnamon rolls. The apples with cook perfectly in this time and temperature as well.
