Are you craving a delicious seafood dish that will leave your taste buds begging for more? I love this easy Asian Zing Salmon that bakes to perfection with a sweet and spicy glaze. Just a few ingredients, simple, and loaded with flavor.
What I love about this was Asian Zing Salmon Fish Recipe
- Just 2 ingredients (plus a little salt, pepper & olive oil)
- Super flavorful- a little sweet, a little spicy
- Comes together in 20 minutes
- A healthier dish to add to the rotation
I had a bottle of Buffalo Wild Wing’s Asian Zing Wing Sauce and started putting it on some baked salmon and fell in love. The sauce takes any “fishy” taste away and leaves the flavor of the sauce instead. Plus- it has sweet chili flavors with some heat…perfect for me.
Health benefits of incorporating salmon into your diet
Salmon is not only packed with flavor, but it is also a nutritional powerhouse. It is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which are beneficial for heart health and brain function. Additionally, salmon is an excellent source of high-quality protein, vitamins, and minerals. So, if you have been wanting to make something a little healthier, try this Asian Zing Salmon!
Salmon cooking methods and techniques
I have made salmon on the grill, in the smoker, the Air Fryer, and oven. So really it just depends on what equipment you have out or feel like using. I just prepared this version in the oven which cooks completely in about 20 minutes. If you want faster- go with the Air Fryer. If you are grilling machine? Then go ahead and toss the salmon on the grill then finish it off with the Asian zing sauce.

How to make this Asian Salmon in the oven
First pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees F. I like to put a piece of foil on my baking sheet for easier clean up. Then sprinkle your salmon filets with a little bit of salt & pepper. This is totally optional as there is tons of flavor in the sauce. But I feel like it just give the fish a little better taste. Then brush with some olive oil.
How long to bake salmon at 400 degrees
Then bake for about 15 minutes. Pull it out of the oven and brush with some of the Asian Zing sauce. Use as much as you would like. Then put back in the oven for about 5 more minutes. The internal temperature of the salmon should reach 145 degrees. Once finished cooking, pull out and serve hot.
What to Serve with Asian Salmon
I usually make this for a quick lunch and eat it as is for some protein. But to make a full meal out of it you could cook up some brown rice, Asian style frozen vegetables, or a salad. I like these Knorr’s Sides Teriyaki Rice, too!
How long is cooked salmon good for
Make sure to let the salmon cool completely before storing in an air-tight container in the refrigerator. The cooked salmon should be good for 3 days for the best taste and even up to 4 days. I personally consume cooked salmon within 2 days.

hi there! The majority of grocery stores have it. Our Kroger has it, Walmart has it (along with a store brand), and Aldi has their own version of something similar, too. 🙂
