Why the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich is a favorite

First of all, it is Summer time. I am not looking to spend a bunch of time on a meal. These grilled chicken sandwiches come together really quickly. Second of all, chicken on the Blackstone (or flat top) is seriously so juicy and tender. Third of all, it is a meal my husband, kids, and myself all liked! Gotta love when that happens. In a nutshell:

  • Come together quickly
  • Juicy chicken
  • Family favorite
  • Budget Friendly
  • If using the Blackstone or flat top, can toast the buns and assemble everything right outside!

So if you are looking for some new grilled chicken recipes, these easy chicken parmesan sandwiches are for you!

Essential Ingredients for a Delicious Chicken Parmesan Sandwich

  • Chicken Breasts– I chose to pound them down a bit to tenderize others you can grab some thin cut breasts (or just cut them in half).
  • Creamy Italian Dressing– For juicy chicken I recommend marinating the chicken in Italian dressing (creamy or regular).
  • Italian Seasoning I add a bit of this to the marinade. You can also brush the buns with some melted butter and more Italian seasoning if you want!
  • Marinara Sauce– I just a used a store brand tomato & basil pasta sauce.
  • Mozzarella Cheese– I had some Mozzarella slices but shredded works too or any Italian blend.
  • Buns– Hoagie buns made the perfect size but ciabatta or any sandwich bun will work.
