Hot Honey Brisket Sliders

If you are on the lookout for something easy to make with your leftover brisket, you need to give these Hot Honey Brisket Sliders a try. They are so easy to make, they melt in your mouth, and make a quick and easy snack. Tender smoked brisket between sweet rolls and then topped with a hot honey glaze…yes please!

So one of my favorite recipes is my Hot Honey Ham & Cheese Sliders on my blog. Well, we smoke brisket on our Traeger several times a year and always have plenty of leftover brisket. Sometimes we make a BBQ Pizza, sometimes, nachos, or tacos. I wanted to come up with something new so I made these Hot Honey Brisket Sliders. And let me tell you, it is where its at. What you need for these Hot Honey Brisket Sliders

  • Serrated knife
  • Baking Sheet
  • Hawaiian Dinner Rolls
  • Cooked Brisket
  • Cheese
  • Onions
  • BBQ Sauce

  • Butter
  • BBQ Rub

How to Make these Hot Honey Sliders With Smoked Brisket

Slice the dinner rolls with a serrated knife to seperate the tops and bottom and place on baking sheet.

Add in the cooked brisket. We always slice ours, but if you have it shredded that works, too.

Top with the BBQ sauce, diced onions, and cheese.

Lay the top half of the rolls on top.

For the Hot Honey Glaze

In a small bowl combine the hot honey, melted butter, and BBQ rub seasoning and whisk until combined.

Brush over the rolls covering the tops and sides.

Bake at 350 degrees F for about 20 minutes or until hot throughout.

Then use the serrated knife to cut into sliders and serve hot.

Additions & Substitutions

  • Don’t like onions? Leave them out.
  • No dinner rolls? That’s fine make them on hamburger buns or similar.
  • No BBQ rub? Just add some garlic powder, pepper, salt, pepper, or smoked paprika.
  • You can use whatever cheese you would like.

Hot Honey Brisket Sliders

These delicious Hot Honey Glazed Brisket Sliders are easy to make with leftover smoked brisket.
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 20 minutes
Course Appetizer, Main Course, Snack
Servings 12 servings

Ingredients
  

  • 1 12 count Hawaiin Dinner Rolls
  • Sliced or shredded brisket to your liking
  • 1/4 cup Hot BBQ Sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 4-6 slices Colby Jack Cheese

For the Hot Honey Glaze:

  • 1 tbsp Hot Honey
  • 1 tsp Beef BBQ Rub
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
