Why I Love This Limoncello Spritz Recipe
- Just a few ingredients
- Comes together in minutes
- Great for warm weather
- Easy to adjust to your taste

I had some limoncello left over from the Easy Limoncello Poke Cake I just shared a few weeks back and knew I had to make one of my favorite restaurant cocktails with you in case you have never had one or don’t know how to make a limoncello spritz at home!
Ingredients Needed for This Limoncello Spritz

| 🍋 Limoncello – This is what gives the drink that lemon flavor. It’s the main part of the spritz and really sets the tone. 🍋 Prosecco – Adds the bubbles and balances everything out. It’s what makes this feel like a classic spritz. If you are making for a party grab a big bottle, if it’s just you or just making a couple- grab a small bottle. 🍋 Soda Water – Just a splash helps lighten the drink and adds a little extra fizz. You can add more if you want it a bit less strong. You can get crazy and use a citrus flavored sparkling water. 🍋 Ice – Keeps everything nice and cold. I like to fill the glass so the drink stays chilled. 🍋 Lemon Slice or Wedge – Adds a fresh touch at the end. You can also squeeze it in if you want a little more lemon in your drink. |

How to Make Limoncello Spritz
Step 1: Fill the glass. Fill your glass of choice with ice. This helps keep everything cold and balanced.
Step 2: Add the limoncello. Pour in the limoncello over the ice.
Step 3: Add prosecco and soda. Pour in the prosecco, then top with soda water. You can add a little more soda if you want it lighter.
Step 4: Garnish and serve. Add a lemon slice or wedge on top. If you would like, squeeze the lemon wedge into the drink for extra citrus. Give it a gentle stir and enjoy.

Additions & Substitutions
- Add extra soda water for a lighter drink or use a flavored sparkling water
- Use sparkling water or club soda if that’s what you have
- Add a splash of fresh lemon juice for a stronger citrus taste
- Swap prosecco with another sparkling wine if needed
