Whether you are BBQing or cooking your steaks in a pan in the house, even the cheaper cuts of steak can be made even better with a quick marinade. This Three Ingredient Steak Marinade is so easy with staples in your kitchen. Just whip up some really fast and slather over your steak and let marinate for at least 30 minutes before cooking and you will have a more tender juicy flavorful steak!

This is my go to marinade for our steaks. Especially if we are cooking a sirloin or cheaper cut of meat. You can add other seasonings, garlic, or Worchester sauce if you want to .

Key Ingredients for this Easy Steak Marinade

  • BBQ Sauce
  • Soy Sauce
  • Steak Seasoning

Probably my favorite steak to cook is sirloins for an easy Summer dinner so we use this steak marinade all the time. But even the better cuts of steak will benefit from using this marinade.

How to Prepare your Steaks with this Three Ingredient Steak Marinade

First salt and pepper your steaks. Then add all of the ingredients into a small bowl and whisk to combined.

Then brush this marinade over the steaks and keep covered for at least 30 minutes before cooking. When you are ready to fire up the grill, place the steak on the grill or smoker, cook, and enjoy a juciy flavorful steak!

This easy steak marinade will make any cut of meat more tender and juicy!

Materials

  • 2 tbsp. BBQ Sauce
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce or Worcestershire
  • 1 tsp steak seasoning we use McCormick’s Grill Mates Montreal Steak

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients together and brush over steaks.
  • Cover and refrigerate until ready to cook.

Notes

*note- this amount is good for about 2-3 steaks. Double for more.*
