Okay friends..I am so excited to share this Irish Chocolate Stout Cake with you! This easy chocolaty bundt cake is so moist, tasty, and finished with an Irish Cream Liquor Glaze….yes, amazing! So if you are looking for the perfect Saint Patrick’s Day dessert, this is for you!
Baking with stout beer
As some of you know I love to cook with beer…(and drink it) :)…but this is my first time baking with it, and let me tell you this may be one of my favorite cakes to date. Not only is this Irish Chocolate Stout Cake delicious, it really is easy, too.
I just used a chocolate boxed cake mix and added a few ingredients to spruce it up! We had some beers left from Christmas so I used a Barrel Aged Milkshake Stout but you can use the classic Guinness or whatever flavor stout you would like!
How to make this Irish Chocolate Stout Cake
First combine the cake mix, one can of stout beer, some vanilla, and eggs for the cake. Mix it well and pour into a greased bundt cake pan.
Then bake at 350 for about 30 minutes .Then let cool before flipping out of the pan.
For the Irish Cream Liquor Glaze
Then make the glaze by combining powdered sugar and Irish Cream Liquor until smooth and drizzle over cake.
Serve and enjoy with friends!!

[…] What is so great about Bailey’s Irish Cream Liquor? Well it is said that back in the day they were looking to create a drink that was smooth that was made of Irish Whiskey and cream. So Bailey’s itself has hints of cocoa, cream, and Irish whiskey. Most people enjoy it on ice, in coffee, or with other coffee liquors to make a nice after dinner drink. I personally like to bake with it like in my Irish Chocolate Cheesecake or my Irish Chocolate Stout Cake. […]
